Safety Policy

Carson Air is committed to providing a safe environment for its customers and employees. As President, I support an open sharing of information on all safety issues and encourage all employees, clients and passengers to report any safety hazards and concerns. I pledge that no employee will receive disciplinary action for reporting a safety hazard or concern. I also pledge that no employee will be asked to compromise our commitment to safety in order to “get the job done”.

Safety is a core value of this company; we believe in providing both a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees. This commitment must be shared by all of our employees and management.

The goal of our safety program is to be proactive in identifying risks and hazards, eliminating injury to persons and damage to equipment. To attain this goal, we will actively analyze our operation for potential hazards and search for ways to minimize them. We will report hazards and incidents, train employees in safety management, hold regular safety meetings, maintain an emergency response plan, and document our findings and responses.

The ultimate responsibility for safety at Carson Air rests with myself. Responsibility for making our workplace safe for everybody, however, lies with every employee. Each is responsible for being committed to our safety management system, and will be held accountable to ensure that all reasonable steps have been taken to prevent incidents and accidents.
