Carson Air Ltd. strategically operates in a “niche” marketplace in a “critical time environment” and consistently delivers a very high level of safe service performance. The company has strong relationships with all partners and provides a level of service that exceeds the performance in the marketplace. We presently employ more than one hundred people and service over fifteen Western Canadian cities daily under dedicated cargo contracts and service all accessible communities in B.C. under dedicated medevac contracts. Our fleet consists of over fifteen Metro’s, four King Air 350’s and flight school training aircraft. The company has bases in Vancouver, Kelowna and Calgary. Carson Air Ltd. has a well defined corporate growth strategy and looks forward to new opportunities.

The Current Corporate Operations Are:

The company has partnered with FedEx since 1995 and with Dynamex Corporation since 2006.  Presently the company provides cargo service daily to over 15 cities in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Vancouver and Kelowna based King Air 350 aircraft under dedicated medivac contracts to the Province of British Columbia providing daily service throughout the Province and additional service as required into Alberta and the U.S.A.

A fuel dealership agreement with Shell Aviation Canada with a fixed base operation (FBO) in Kelowna. Services are provided to general aviation corporate and personal aircraft as well as commercial airline, government and military accounts.

Flight training is provided by Southern Interior Flight Centre, a division of Carson Air. Training includes the Private and Commercial Pilot Licences, Recreational Pilot Permit, Night Ratings, Multi-Engine Ratings, Instrument Ratings, Instructor Rating, as well as various value-added courses such as PDM, CRM, TDG, WHMIS, etc.

In partnership with Okanagan College the flight training operation provides all flight training and ground school instruction for the Commercial Aviation Diploma Program.

Three Commercial/Hanger facilities in Kelowna B.C. totaling 63,000 square feet. Tenants include FedEx, Shell Aviation Canada, The Province of British Columbia and other aviation related companies.
